I'm excited to share with you all a process feature from Nathan DeYoung for his new work "Act 2 - A Change, A Gift" that will be featured in 'Windows & Mirrors' this September at Thinkspace. In the meantime please dig into his extremely time intensive technique of starting with a detailed under painting and then building layer upon layer of dry brush work over top until perfection is reached.
