'Matadores' - collaboration between Viveros and Quintana
Brian Viveros will be showing alongside Dan Quintana this evening at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica at the Bergamot Station art complex.
Viveros and Quintana are a perfect pairing of styles. Their beautiful imagery compliments one another in stunning fashion. The show will also feature three stunning colaborative paintings as well as a sculpture of the showcard piece created by Gustavo Ponce.
Its going to be a multi-media event in 5D with films being projected, soundtracks of bizarre music and sculptures as well as live music and costumed Desensitized girls. Everyone is encouraged to participate so please dress up in military gear like a Viveros or Quintana painting and get a free Desensitized poster (while supplies last).
Joe Wood and the Lonely Ones will be providing live music + the Don Chow Taco Truck will be parked in front of the gallery serving up their delicious Chinese / Mexican hybrid.

Australian duo Dabs Myla spent the day yesterday in Hollywood working on a huge mural alongside Greg ‘Craola’ Simkins and Deph. The final piece came out killer (see above).

For those that missed it, below is the piece that Dabs Myla collaborated on with Craola for ‘Futurity’ – our show that took place at Aqua Art Miami during Art Basel in Miami this past December. Please get in touch for further details on the piece if you are interested – contact@sourharvest.com

Watch for more from Dabs Myla next month when they rock the project room at Thinkspace as part of our ‘Fresh’ group show. After that they head off to Australia for a solo show there and then it’s back to LA in time for their solo show in September in our project room. Can’t wait!
