'Nowhere' - coming January 7th to Thinkspace
The big 'Spread the Word' auction at the Mark Moore Gallery in Culver City takes place tonight - Saturday, Dec. 17. This one-night exhibition and silent auction features unique works by over 80 contemporary artists. All proceeds from ticket sales and auction bids will benefit 826LA, a pioneering non-profit organization focused on youth literacy and writing.
Each participating artist was given a vintage pulp novel to work with — like the piece by Bumblebee above. Works from the show can be previewed here.
The evening will include a live set by KCRW’s Jason Bentley and food truck eats from Holy Aioli. Tickets can be purchased here.
