A number of Thinkspace family members are taking part in this great cause including the likes of Adam Caldwell, Brett Amory, Brian M. Viveros, Craig "Skibs" Barker, Dabs Myla, Jacub Gagnon, Pedro Matos, Seth Armstrong, Stephanie Buer and Timothy Karpinski. Several artists we'll be showcasing in our big 'Picks of the Harvest 2012' show coming up this March are also included along with our esteemed intern N.S. David and my partner and Cannibal Flower co-founder L. Croskey who will have his collage work featured and will also be DJing the nights festivities. If you're in the Bay Area this weekend, you do not want to miss this one!

"A collaborative group show with an effort to raise awareness & funding for the purpose & progression of Oceanic Awareness Collaboration. Proceeds will be designated as scholarships, research funding & creative sustainability projects. This art show will directly benefit The OAC Fund, which provides underprivileged kids with scholarships to attend the CIMI Marine Biology Camp on Catalina Island, CA. Proceeds will also fund OAC’s creative endeavors built around art, music & fashion to make a difference in the youth culture & to provoke positive change both locally & globally. Oceanic Awareness Collaboration, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax deductible charity organization.”

The bidding will take place on February 18th, 2012 from 6PM to 10:30PM (PST)
On February 17th, 2012 an updated and numbered Art Catalog will be posted along with 2 phone numbers. These phones will be used to complete all off-site bidding. Bids will begin at 6PM (PST), calls before this time will not be answered. When calling please have the piece number(s), your starting bid(s), the highest bid(s) you are willing to make, and credit card information ready. Bid increments are pre-decided and will be discussed on a piece-by-piece basis. If you happen to win artwork you will be notified, by phone, between 11:00pm and 12:00am (PST). All credit card information will be shredded before the nights end. Happy Bidding!
