João Ruas arrives into Los Angeles this evening and will begin work on his mural for ‘YORE’ this coming Monday. Tomorrow we’ll be proofing a new giclee print edition we’ll be publishing with him to be released during opening reception for ‘YORE‘. The print will be for “Nymphs V” featured above. This special limited print will feature a full-sized reproduction of the original in an edition of 25. Additional details and pricing will be released in the week ahead.

We’re excited to be issuing our first canvas print with Toronto, Ontario based artist Jacub Gagnon. His piece entitled ‘Best Laid Plans‘ from this past April’s ‘Elements and Oddities‘ show at Thinkspace is the work we’ve chosen due to the great reaction it received. The print is the same size as the original painting by Gagnon – 14×11 inches (36×28 cm) – and is wrapped on a 1.5 inch stretcher bar so the finished piece really resembles the original in a big way.
