Bloginity recently posted an interview with David MacDowell hot on the heels of his recent ‘Lowbrow Love Letter’ show with us. Things are definitely heating up for MacDowell and we couldn’t be more excited for him. If you missed his interview on Carson Daly, be sure to check it out.
This week is your last chance to see ‘Lowbrow Love Letter‘, so be sure to swing through. Check out Dave’s interview from earlier this week on ‘Last Call with Carson Daly‘. Came out really sharp – congrats Dave!

On view through this Sat, May 14th in our project room
This coming Mon, May 9th at 1:35AM (ok, technically very early Tue, May 10th but it’s the Mon night show) our own Dave MacDowell will be featured on ‘Last Call with Carson Daly’. Carson’s crew came through last week the night before MacDowell’s ‘Lowbrow Love Letter’ opened to the public and sat down with Dave and asked a number of great questions and also had him give a lil’ tour of the show talking about each piece. How much will actually be used is anyone’s guess, but I know I’m excited to see him on national TV!

Thank you to everyone that came through this past weekend and showed support for Yosuke, Jacub, and MacDowell. There was a special energy in the air as the two shows fed off one another beautifully throughout the evening and judging by the amount of positive words being bestowed upon this months featured artists, we’d have to say all that came through were really enjoying both exhibits. Several artists both local and international also swung through to check out the show and say hi to the exhibiting artists. To cap things off, the evening also saw the 2nd successful marriage proposal at Thinkspace go down in front of Yosuke Ueno’s ‘Unity’ piece. Just magical to witness and had the whole place cheering!
Just a quick reminder that ‘Elements and Oddities’ and ‘Lowbrow Love Letter’ open tonight at Thinkspace with an artist reception from 6-8PM. Yosuke Ueno is in town from Japan. Jacub Gagnon is in town from Toronto. Dave MacDowell is in from Virginia. The gallery is just alive with vibrant energy. Both shows play off each other in a wonderful fashion. If all that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be debuting new works from David Cooley in our office area.
