Thinkspace x Moniker Art Fair

Thinkspace x Moniker Art Fair
Excited to get back over to London for the third time for our biggest event ever! We will be taking over the eighth edition of the MONIKER ART FAIR this coming October with 8 stands including seven mini-solo exhibitions and one group exhibition.
Honored to be hosting the debut U.K. solo shows from some of the biggest names in the New Contemporary / Urban Contemporary movements. At least 8 new works will be on view from each featured artist + a new print edition for their London fans will be issued in tandem with the fair. Be sure to come by our group exhibition at Stand 34 and say hi and grab your free Thinkspace logo parody button (in the vein of the classic logos of Slayer and Motorhead). We are really looking forward to meeting as many of our U.K. based patrons as possible during the fair.
Visit us at stands 27-34 at The Old Truman Brewery at 91 Brick Lane in the Shoreditch area of London, England / E1 6QL
Tickets and full details at: www.monikerartfair.com
Please Note: we will be offering the works for sale first to those attending the VIP and Public openings of the fair. The whole notion of this endeavor was to build each artist’s patron base in the U.K. Once the fair has opened we will do our best to then follow up with everyone that could not attend and get them a choice work. A digital preview for each solo exhibition and our group exhibition will be shared the morning of Friday, October 6 at 8 AM Pacific. We will then get back to all during the day on Saturday, October 7 to discuss purchase. Thank you and we can’t wait to debut all these incredible new works next month.

Dulk Interviewed in Street Art United States

Street Art United States interviewed Thinkspace Family artist Dulk to discuss social media, the origins of the name Dulk, the evolution of street artists to muralist and so much more. Jump on over to Street Art United States website to read the full interview.

We’re excited to be showing work by Dulk in two of our museum curated exhibitions now on view,  Juxtapozed showing at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and Flourish at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum.  This won’t be the last of Dulk in 2017 as we will be showing him this fall in the UK as well. We also have a few prints from Dulk still available to purchase on the Thinkspace Gallery website.

Painting in the street allowed me to take my future more seriously as an “artist”, it was a turning point in my life. Ever since I laid hands on my first spray can, my road changed direction.  –  Dulk from Street Art United States Interview

New Mural by Artist Dulk in Wittenberg Germany

Thinkspace Family artist Dulk recently completed a new mural in Wittenberg Germany for Kura Fest. The mural titled “Where We Used to Scream” addresses the struggle between life and death that is the nature of all things. The salmon, which is represented in the crest of Wittenberg, symbolizes the desire to return to a place of peace in order to continue a legacy, despite the peril that awaits.

Dulk currently has two new pieces on view at the Mesa Contemporary Art Museum and one at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. To view all available work by Dulk, visit the Thinkspace Gallery website.

Viva Art Vegas at Life Is Beautiful

Thinkspace curator Andrew Hosner headed out to Las Vegas last weekend to check out the murals at Life Is Beautiful. The mural element of the music and art festival was curated by our friends over at Just Kids and a few of the Thinkspace family were invited to participate. Bezt, Dulk, and Martin Whatson blessed the buildings of Las Vegas with colorful fun new pieces.

An art adventure for Hosner would not be complete without exploring some abandoned buildings. Here are some other stops on his Vegas adventure.
