What amazing vibes this past Saturday! Our community continues to grow and get stronger every month, thank you all for coming through. Much love to all of this month’s exhibiting artists for delivering such strong bodies of work and for trusting in us, it was a beautiful evening.

In Gallery I, explore Alex Face’s (@alexfacebkk) ‘Fictional City’ that will take viewers on a journey of new situations and elements using the artist’s highly recognizable iconography.

Dustin Myers (@dustinmyersart) is celebrating the imperfections in Gallery II with ‘Perfectly Normal.’ The show brings forward the imperfections that are overlooked and challenges the conventional standards of beauty.

Vibration’ by Aof Smith (@aofsmith) is a dive into the whimsical world the artist is able to create in Gallery III. The artist creates fantastical creatures drawing inspiration from manga, science fiction, and other art forms.

In Gallery IV, you can explore the Javanese culture in Anjastama HP’s (@anjastamahp) debut U.S. solo exhibition, ‘Myths of Ganendra.’ The artist has woven their culture so beautifully throughout the collection.

AngelOnce (@angelonce) is showing ‘Icons: Pop Art Reimagined’ in the Dog House. The show is a vibrant and playful exploration of pop, culture icons, and the artist’s character, Charlie the Angry Elephant.

Shout out to all that rocked the Night Market in our courtyard as well including our mayor of festivities GoopMassta along with Michael James B.CruxKarpet Workshop, Made In Chino, The Cure Company, Zavalas Pies, Kabob Senpai, Mad Barista 1989, Liquid DeathVenice Beats and Digital Debris Video Gallery.

Video Tour & Opening Reception Party of October Exhibitions featuring works from Langston Allston, Fajar Amali, TRNZ, Jolene Lai, Al Marcano, Tenser at Thinkspace Projects

Many thanks to all of the art lovers that flowed through our space this past Saturday to celebrate the opening of our October exhibitions. Much love to all of this month’s exhibiting artists for delivering such stellar bodies of work, what a special celebration it was!

Langston Allston (@langstonallston) is in Gallery I with ‘A Passing Love.’ The show conveys real stories and experiences with striking colors.

In Gallery II, Fajar Amali (@fajaramalie) brings his new show ‘Among Our Existence.’ The artist’s collection explores the worth of things that are often underestimated.

TRNZ (@trnzwho) is showing ‘The Weight of Things’ in Gallery III. The show assembles visual imagery in uncanny ways drawing from the artist’s own memories.

Secret Garden’ by Jolene Lai (@jolenelaiart) is in Gallery IV and is inviting viewers to gaze out of the window of their souls to see what lies within.

In the Dog House Gallery, TENSER takes an expansive look at his life up to now drawing on studio work, graffiti, and street portraits with ‘Three Halves.’

Our Viewing Room holds ‘Spirit Ditch’, a special installation from Al Marcano, that represents finding a new religion through skateboarding.

Video Tour & Opening Reception Party of September 2023 Exhibitions featuring Yosuke Ueno, Dan Lydersen, Floyd Stickland, Priscilla S. Flores & Allison Bamcat at Thinkspace Projects

Many thanks to all of the art lovers and our many patrons who came out to celebrate the opening of our September exhibitions. We just love seeing so many people packing all of our gallery spaces and courtyard to take in all of the inspiring new exhibits on view from our family of creatives.

Yosuke Ueno returns for his sixth solo show ‘Beautiful Noise’ with us in Gallery I. His new series of works are inspired by the reborn aesthetic of the Japanese art of “kintsugi,” which refers to repairing broken pottery by mending the breaks with powdered gold.

Dan Lydersen is also back with an astounding new body of work in Gallery II with ‘Plasticene Dream’, a series of absurdist portraits, sentient still lifes and fanciful visions of inanimate objects come to life.

Floyd Strickland’s new body of work ‘Super Rich Kids’ is on display in Gallery III, delving into the rich tapestry of African American culture, history, and its pivotal economic contributions, marvelously captured within 12 masterful new oil paintings.

Priscilla S. Flores holds down Gallery IV with her debut solo show ‘Where the Spirit Meets the Skin’, exploring the external and internal relationships she has with the world around her.

Allison Bamcat’s debut solo show ‘Fish Fingers’ is a festive and colorful takeover of our Dog House Gallery eliciting feelings of her neon, nineties-childhood in Los Angeles.

Thinkspace presents a video tour and opening reception of Mark Jeffrey Santos’s (aka Mr. S / @mister_sasquatch) new collection ‘Uncharted Paths’ is on view in Gallery I for his debut U.S. solo show. Clémentine Bal (@clementine.bal) is also experiencing her debut U.S. solo show with ‘Magic Friends’ in Gallery II. Jamiah Calvin’s (@miahthecreator) new body of work ‘Reganomics, Cocaine ‘80s and the ‘90s Re-Up’, is on display in Gallery III. Wiley Wallace (@wileywallace) is back in Thinkspace Projects with his new solo show ‘Woven Trails’ in Gallery IV. ANd last but not least GoopMassta’s (@goopmassta) debut solo show ‘Leader of the Pack’ is the perfect fit in the Dog House Gallery and worth a visit.
