On Sept. 3rd, 2010 our close friends and fellow art enthusiasts Martin and Yvonne got engaged at our gallery during the opening reception of Dabs Myla‘s ‘Tokyo Deluxe‘. The proposal itself came by way of a commissioned painting from the Australian artist couple Dabs Myla and featured a character spray painting the phrase ‘Will You Marry Me Yvonne?’ on a wall in the painting… Yvonne was in the room where the painting was hanging for almost 10 minutes before she took notice of the work, but still needed a lil’ nudge to fully take in what the piece said… you can take it from there after viewing the video. We dare ya’ not to smile 🙂
Congrats to Martin and Yvonne from the Thinkspace Gallery crew!!!
Come check out the piece in person, along with the rest of Dabs Myla‘s amazing show now through Sept. 24th
