Australian artist Lilly Piri returns to Los Angeles next Friday hot off a sold out solo show in Victoria, Australia this past December. Piri’s new series features 11 works that showcase her gentle touch and also includes her largest work to date, “Glueck”, shown above.
She’ll be showing in Thinkspace’s project room alongside new works from Fumi Nakamura and Yuka Yamaguchi. After several successful showings with us, we’re excited to have her back and feature some of her largest works to date. Her soft and subtle color pencil works really need to be seen in person to be fully appreciated… lil’ gems to be discovered and cherished.
Opening Reception: Fri, Sept. 11th
Thinkspace
4210 Santa Monica Blvd (near Sunset Junction) in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles
In conjunction with ‘Vain Remains’ featuring new works from Camilla d’Errico and Caia Koopman in the main gallery and ‘Windows & Mirrors’ from Nathan DeYoung as part of the ‘Fresh Faces Series’. Don’t miss this one!
