“The Return Of The FUN Gallery” – a group show that is billed as the return of the FUN gallery, but not at a permanent spot? None the less, Pattis Astor from the famed FUN Gallery in NYC did make a big impact in the ‘80’s and it will be interesting to see what this is all about and if it lives up to the hype (and if they do indeed open a proper spot in LA anytime soon) – lots of hoopla out there, yet nowhere have I seen a list of the artists taking part other than mention of some LA artists will be involved and some NYC legends as well as some works from Patti’s personal Basquiat collection – there will the Kogi truck, DJ Angelus Bailey and beer from Asahi (though I don’t think free) – let’s hope Meltdown hire some security for those Basquiat pieces!
