SEEN Mural for Vitality & Verve III: Transforming the Urban Landscape

SEEN, also known as the “Godfather of Graffiti,” began lettering New York subway cars in the 70’s and gained worldwide recognition in the 80’s for his bright, colorful reimagining of mass-media cartoon characters. SEEN creates from his gut; he approaches his work with creative freedom deriving inspiration from simply enjoying and observing life. He was lived and worked in New York and France.
