Curiot In The Courtyard of The Honolulu Museum of Art

Curiot Mural Pow Wow

Excited to be able to share the final photo of Curiot’s mural for POW! WOW! Hawaii 2016 that he created on the grounds of the Honolulu Museum of Art. The mural will stay up the entire year in the museum’s main courtyard.

We were proud to be able to co-sponsor the adventures and walls from Curiot and Audrey Kawasaki this year and are already planning out things for next year. Aloha to all our friends on Oahu, we can’t wait to come back!

This mural serves as a great lead-in to our big solo show with Curiot coming up on May 28th. More details shared soon!

Coming up this weekend at the Honolulu Museum of Art School will be the ‘3rd Annual Exploring the New Contemporary Art Movement’ as part of this year’s POW! WOW! Hawai’i mural event.

For the third iteration of Thinkspace’s special exhibition for POW! WOW! Hawaii, we have curated the largest survey of the New Contemporary Art Movement to ever take place in Hawaii (or just about anywhere else for that matter).

This special exhibition will feature over 120 local and international artists curated by Los Angeles-based gallery Thinkspace. The massive group exhibition serves as a survey of the burgeoning New Contemporary Art Movement for art lovers on Oahu and the world over via the internet, handpicked by one of the scene’s most prolific galleries.
