My Barbarian’s ‘The Night Epi$ode’ – in this six-part video installation, the performers explore the economic recession through tropesscience fiction. Inspired by television shows including Rod Serling’s Night Gallery, the narrative involves a romance between a woman and a supernatural being; the former recovers from losing her job while the latter consults witch doctors when his insurance won’t cover his medical condition.Incorporating French existentialism and absurdist dialogue, My Barbarian presents an oft-studied political fault with a novel perspective

A homecoming of sorts for the California native, ‘Into Darkness’ will feature Neck Face at his nastiest – meaning of course, at his best. Following up 2009’s now legendary performance-cum-exhibition in Miami, the artist sets his sights on Hollywood and brings with him the same energy and originality that has made him a cult favorite. Lock your windows and close your doors. He’s on the loose and there’s no telling what surprises he’ll have in store this Halloween.

Opening Reception: HALLOWEEN – Sunday, October 31st 7pm
