Fintan Magee, a well-known Australian street artist was raised in the arts. The child of two artistic parents, he became involved in the graffiti scene in his teen years and as he grew as a person, grew as an artist to develop an artistic voice as a portraiture painter. Magee finds the people he meets to be the most important aspect of his work, as his work isn’t about self-expression but an expression of the world and the people in it. He is not one to shy away from discussing social issues, such as climate change and the migrant crisis, but embraces the topics as inspiration for his next piece.
