RISE Long Beach Highlights LBMA “Vitality & Verve : In The Third Dimension”

Rise Long Beach LBMA

Rise Long Beach kicked off their Artober covering “Vitality & Verve: In The Third Dimension” that is currently on view at the Long Beach Museum of Art. They’ve written great description about each artist and their work in the exhibition. Check out Rise Long Beach’s coverage of the show here.

Ariel grew up atheist so she uses the crane as a way to pray, and make wishes. She loves being able to participate in prayer using the crane gives her the ability to meditate, and focus on a hope, wish, goal or dream without having to know who she’s directing them to. – Rise Long Beach regarding above image.

“Vitality & Verve: In The Third Dimension” currently on view until October 16th.

The Summer of Telmo Miel

Prolific artistic duo Telmo Miel has had a busy summer! They kicked off their season of murals at POW! WOW! Long Beach in conjunction with their piece for “Vitality in Verve in the Third Dimension” at the Long Beach Museum of Art. Before heading back over the Atlantic, Telmo Miel painted another fantastic mural piece at the Fullerton Museum Center for their mini exhibition “Lost and Not Found”. Once back in Europe, they hopped from country to country creating new pieces in 4 different countries from Italy to Norway. Absolutely killing it with 7 murals in 3 months, and  we don’t anticipate them slowing down.

Make sure to catch Telmo Miel’s exhibition “Lost and Not Found” at the Fullerton Museum Center in the Foyer Gallery before it closes next Saturday, September 24th.  Please visit the Thinkspace Gallery website from more information on Telmo Miel and view all available work from the artists here. Now let’s scroll through their amazing pieces; title and location is above the photos.
