As we prepare to open ‘Negative Never Again’ this Friday from Yosuke Ueno, the artist’s profile is at an all-time high. His work was recently included in the 2nd installment of ‘The Animamix Biennial 2009-2010’ which opened simultaneously this past December at MoCA Taipei, MoCA Shanghai, the Guangdong Museum of Art (Guangzhou, China), and the Today Art Museum (Beijing, China). This special multi-museum exhibition just recently came down off view and provided massive exposure for his work which has helped to greatly raise his profile around the world.
Riding off this wave of international exposure Juxtapoz just posted an in-depth interview with Ueno:
Yosuke Ueno‘s work for his first major U.S. solo show is now available for preview:
Please drop me a line to email@example.com if you’d like to speak for a piece or have any questions at all. The gallery is just buzzing with the good vibes his work gives off.
The digital preview for Dan-ah Kim‘s second solo show with our gallery is now ready as well:
The amount of work in Dan-ah’s pieces has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. So much texture and depth, just beautiful.
Please come on out this Friday for the opening reception. We’ll be open late this Saturday too until 8PM.
Fri, July 9th 7-10PM with both artists in attendance
